An Evening at Senses Restaurant

While staying at the Albus hotel in Amsterdam I had the opportunity to eat at the fantastic Senses Restaurant. This place deserves more recognition from Michelin because it is one of the best meals I have ever had.

I did the 5-course tasting menu with the paired wines. Even though this only advertises the menu as 5 courses I had around 10 courses when all was said and done. Senses does a great job at adding additional courses for everyone to enjoy that really round out the meal.

The atmosphere at senses restaurant Amsterdam

Senses is a small restaurant located in the lobby of the Albus Hotel. The whole restaurant only seats about 60 people total which gives you a nice cozy vibe. All of the waiters went above and beyond and really know a thing or two about the food.

Can you eat at Senses if you have dietary restrictions like Vegan, Gluten free etc?

YES! I had a fantastic meal that consisted of food suitable for my pescatarian lifestyle. The table next to me had a gluten free guest that they easily accomodated. If you do have any dietary restrictions just be sure to give them a call at least a day in advance.
