Guys, it’s already Thanksgiving?! Where did the year go???
Of course with Thanksgiving comes the most anticipated shopping holiday of the year, Black Friday. The real question is have you heard of Travel Deal Tuesday? Yes, this is 100% real. Let me explain.
Is Travel Deal Tuesday a Real Thing?
Black Friday is, of course, more popular than ever and in the last couple of years Cyber Monday has become an even bigger shopping day. Interestingly enough though Travel Deal Tuesday is a VERY real thing according to Hopper.
In 2015, the airfare prediction and booking app began analyzing data and found that the Tuesday after Black Friday offered the most airfare sales. Deals included 20 percent off all domestic and international round-trip routes. The site dubbed it Travel Deal Tuesday and many media outlets - including The New York Times and Skyscanner - have begun reporting deals using the phrase. Looks like Travel Deal Tuesday is very much real and here to stay.
This year, Travel Deal Tuesday, will land on Nov. 27.
When to Start Shopping For Travel Deals
Although Travel Deal Tuesday lands on November 27th I would begin shopping before then. Plenty of travel discounts will be offered this year through Cyber Monday, including sales on lodging, air, and rail travel.
