Best Restaurants: Aspen Colorado

What makes Aspen so great is it truly has something for everyone. It's not just a ski town, or an outdoor lovers dream, it's also an amazing destination for some fantastic dining. No matter what you are looking for, Aspen has you covered. Although, it has the reputation for being quite expensive, it also can be done on the cheap. Oh, and if you have dietary restrictions, you'll find Aspen is pretty accommodating.

Excellent atmosphere and some amazing Mexican food that will fill you up after a long day on the mountain. Also extremely hip and a great bar to drink at for Apres-ski.

La Creperie Du Village

Any where that serves crepes is on my list but I would visit here for the decor alone. What I like is they have a range of options which make it totally doable on any budget. Check out the menu to see what I mean.

This place is on everyone's list and it's easy to see why. It's fabulous. Book a night here.

Where to drink in Aspen

 Jerome Hotel in Aspen

Jerome Hotel
Personally, I would live in the "living room" (it's a bar - pictured above) of the Jerome Hotel. You walk in and automatically feel like you've come home. Don't miss out on the Aspen Crud, a bourbon milkshake cocktail that dates back to Prohibition.

Woody Creek Distillers
If it were me I would rent a bike and take a fabulous and scenic ride out here. The reserve vodka is also too die for, try it in the Moscow Mule.

Aspen Brewing Company
A local favorite... I wonder why?? (sarcasm, obviously).

Final Thoughts

One last thing... even though researching ahead of time is great, I definitely recommend bringing a guidebook along with you. Here are some books I recommend...

Also, a super common question I get is: what camera do I use for my travels. The body is a Nikon D3300 and this is the wide angle lens I use and love - I am seriously obsessed with it.

My full guide that includes all the camera gear I take on every trip is here.

And of course, if you have any questions DO NOT hesitate to reach out to me via Instagram, Twitter, or just shoot me an email (tessajuliette@gmail.com).
