The first time I realized that I was falling in love – not kind of in love but totally in love – was on a 6-week low-budget backpacking trip through western Europe. It was my first time out of the US and every day had a moment that made my life feel like a movie. I was visiting picturesque European cites with this guy who I was starting to believe may be the love of my life.
Fast forward 4 years later. Yesterday, we got married.
Travel has always seemed to be a driving force of our relationship. The first time Matt said he loved me was on the last day of our first road trip together. We were sitting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., completely exhausted from the trip, when he said the words.
Our love for each other and our love for travel has only grown since then. I am lucky to have a partner that supports my dream of seeing the world and who understands how important that dream is to me. We have had some of our biggest fights and greatest moments through travel, always somehow coming out the other end stronger than before.
While traveling during the back end of 2015, we took advantage of all the beautiful locations we visited to take some unique wedding pictures that reflect our adventurous kind of love. Honestly, it was sometimes a hassle for me to carry a full blown wedding dress in tiny backpack and for Matt to constantly change into a spare suit. Yet both of us were so consistently amazed with every picture that we kept wanting to take another one. And another one. Until we had this incredible collection of pictures that we can look at for life.
We have received a ton of emails asking what products we used to capture these photos so I have listed them below. I highly recommend using amazon for nearly everything in life so it is no surprise that all our gear is from amazon.
