Because Jurassic Park isn't real (yet) we had to settle on spending one Saturday in the Natural History Museum on 81st instead. It did not disappoint. It sort of blew my mind how many real dinosaur bones they had on display. Not to mention that all the animals on display are real animals that were taxidermy after a natural death. It's easy to go into a place like this and think "cool another animal I've seen on the internet/tv show/movie" but when you really think about all the time and energy that goes into curating and displaying these things for educational purposes it really is astounding.
