chelsea galleries

Tuesday was a pretty dreary day.  Cold and rainy.  I had also run out of money for the week due to a fun weekend (no regrets).  So I hit up some free galleries in Chelsea and had a wonderful day looking at art.  I walked around 21st, 20th and 19th street and just went in every gallery that looked interesting.  My favorite had to be Yayoi Kusama - Give me love exhibition.  It was a typical american house from the outside but when you go in you are given some round stickers and told you can place them anywhere.  She is studying "obliteration" in this exhibit.  Basically once the stickers start to pile up your eyes start to play tricks on you that nothing is there and it messes with your depth perception.   It was great and I highly recommend it. Hope everyone is having a great day
